Who we are

Your season starts here

The Victorian Churches Basketball Association is a community-run league for teams representing local churches, played at The Rings stadium in Ringwood.

It's a structured, competitive environment where faith and sport sit side by side. Fixtures and ladders are managed through PlayHQ, Basketball Victoria's official platform.

Our values

What we
stand for

Three commitments shape how the league is run, from the first registration to finals night.

Integrity in governance

Clear, transparent leadership and decision-making, with structures that keep every level accountable.

Christian community

Rooted in local church connections, we keep a respectful, Christ-centred environment where faith and sport are lived out together.

Accountability in participation

Consistent standards from registration to finals, so every player and team gets fairness, safety and a fair go.

Keen to get involved

Sign-ups open now

Getting your church on court takes three steps. Questions first? Try the FAQ. Playing solo? Find a team.

  1. Register your team

Your church enters a team through the registration page.

  2. Every player registers

Each player signs up through the "player to team" link. That's how they're insured under Basketball Victoria and eligible for finals.

  3. Check your fixtures

Game times and ladders are on PlayHQ. Teams lodge their team sheet with the venue.
